The Green Bay Packers cut the running back on Monday, the team announced Monday. ESPN first reported the news.

Michael re-signed with the Packers this offseason after being claimed by the team on waivers last November. His low-level deal reportedly came with just $25,000 guaranteed. Michael played in six games in Green Bay, with 31 carries for 114 yards, 3.7 yards per tote, with one touchdown.
After displaying burst last preseason, C-Woke opened the 2016 season as the Seahawks starter, but fell out of favor as Seattle’s backfield got healthy. He played seven games for the Seahawks last season compiling 469 yards on 117 carries and six scores before being waived.
The Packers cut Michael and reserve Don Jackson — who posted a message on Twitter thanking Green Bay for the chance — after selecting Jamaal Williams, Aaron Jones and Devante Mays during the draft this past weekend.

Fourth-round selection Vince Biegel broke the fifth metatarsal in his foot recently, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, per a source informed of his situation. The linebacker is expected to miss all of spring camp, but could be ready for training camp in late July.
ESPN first reported the news.
The foot injury is a recurring one for Biegel. The 108th overall selection out of Wisconsin suffered a similar injury during his senior year in Madison.
Biegel also left his first practice at rookie minicamp on May 5 with a “minor” hand injury. The linebacker has not signed his rookie deal yet.
For most NFL players, that’s a good start to a career. For the Packers offensive lineman, it’s nowhere near good enough.

“It’s starting to [tick] me off a little bit,” Bakhtiari said, via the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “You’re not guaranteed another year. Keep getting close and not making it is stressful. We’ve got to collectively — we’ve got to do more. … The Green Bay Packers — I mean, the trophy is the Lombardi Trophy. We have to get back there and win it.”
While Bakhtiari is probably being a little hard on himself, expecting rings and not relishing the feat that he and his teammates have accomplished thus far in his short career, his comments reflect some quiet hand-wringing that has to be going on in Green Bay.
The Packers have one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. Yet there’s only one Super Bowl ring to show for Aaron Rodgers’ sterling career so far. The team has also won the NFC North five out of the past six years, but has only advanced out of the divisional round of the playoffs twice in those seasons.
With Rodgers slated to turn 34 during the 2017 season, there’s certainly more pressure to add more Super Bowls before Father Time catches up to the All-Pro. As Bakhtiari points out, the anxiety level is only going to continue to rise as long as the Packers only have that one ring — and several disappointing playoff finishes — to show for all of Rodgers’ team’s flare the past decade.
